Reasons and Ways to Give

Why Give

One in five U.S. adults, and one in six children, experience a mental health disorder each year. More people than ever are seeking mental health care, but there aren’t enough practitioners to meet the demand. In fact, more than one third of Americans live in areas that lack access to basic mental health services.

The mental health care shortage is a crisis—but it can be solved.

The most impactful way to address the growing need for care is by training more culturally competent mental health practitioners. At The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, we take a unique approach to learning that offers students a best-in-class education alongside innovative, hands-on training in the field.

With over 6,000 current students and more than 20,000 alumni around the world, The Chicago School is building the future of mental health care. A generous contribution from you can support this work by:

  1. Funding scholarships, fellowships, and other forms of financial aid that can help The Chicago School support more students from all walks of life.
  2. Maintaining and expanding our campus footprint, including the adoption of cutting edge technology and student life enhancements, to help foster an environment conducive to education and service.
  3. Expanding and enhancing our degree offerings to best prepare students for successful, impactful careers.
  4. Covering costs associated with giving students career-relevant service opportunities in underserved communities, effectively providing our community partners with free mental health programming while giving students transformative hands-on experiences.
  5. And so much more!
